how does it come together?
MixtapesPosted by Bjørn-Ivar Teie Fri, January 04, 2008 18:52:49Hi everbody! :-) this is my first ever blog, so please bear with me... so have you ever wondered how it is done? i mean the actual prossess of making a good mixtape? i thought i would take a few secs of your time, and tell you alittle about how we do it.. who are we you might ask... hehe we are 2 mates from oslo that love the sound of breakbeat this is a very small genre of electronic music.. in norway that is.. anyways this is how we do a mixtape.. *quiet moment.. i get home from work... go thru my vinyls and pick out tunes i would like to play and pack them in my bag.. i then take the bus up to Dj Lost and we smoke a little spliffi liffi and off we go.. put on the first record and the noob twidling starts ;-) i think what defines a good mixtape is the story it tells, look out for some examples in a few.. its allso very important that there is good comunication between the djs if you are playing back2back.. anyways.. enught bla bla from me.. enjoy these tapes insted..
